Grand Canyon and Colorado River.

The Grand Canyon Trust is offering a chance for Native youth to view the canyon from above this month.

The purpose of the free flight over the Little Colorado River is for youth to learn about tribal connections and threats to the area. There is room for eight participants, aged 15-30, to board a small propeller plane from Tusayan and fly over the Little Colorado River, Thursday and Friday, July 22-21.

The event will be based out of Tusayan, AZ and will include food and lodging. Youth can apply by July 15th via this form or contact Kayla Yazzie kyazzie@grandcanyontrust.org.
