Boulder Creek Waterkeeper Launch Party

Boulder Creek has a voice. The Colorado Ocean Coalition in partnership with the Waterkeeper Alliance is launching a new project, the Boulder Creek Waterkeeper Affiliate initiative. This project is dedicated to monitoring, protecting and preserving the creek and watershed, and building a community of individuals and organizations that support swimmable, drinkable, and fishable waters that flow from land to sea.

Welcome by Vicki Nichols Goldstein, Founder & Executive Director of COCO

Ted Ross, COCO Advisory Board Member leading the Boulder Creek Waterkeeper Affiliate initiative

Gary Wockner, Boardmember Waterkeeper Alliance, will do a 20-minute slideshow discussing the Waterkeeper Alliance, international eco-adventures to meet Waterkeepers in other countries, and his new book, RIVER WARRIOR: Fighting to Protect the World’s Rivers. Book sales will be donated to COCO to help launch the Boulder Creek Waterkeeper Affiliate.

Light refreshments will be served.
