Free

Join Pueblo Grande Museum for the 18th Annual Veterans Day Gourd Dance on November 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This annual event held at the Museum, honors the memory of all the men and women who have served our nation. Gourd dancing is conducted by the Arizona Territory Gourd Society, a non-profit group of American Indian United States War Veterans and their families who celebrate and support the local Arizona veteran community. Come to Pueblo Grande Museum and join us in celebrating our veterans.

Joining the Gourd Dance this year to honor our veterans is Native American actor Rick Mora of the Yaqui and Apache Nations with United States Marine Corps Veteran and actor Saginaw Grant of the Sac and Fox Nation. Both Mora and Grant are strong supporters of veteran awareness issues and Pueblo Grande Museum is honored to have them participate in this year’s Veterans Day Gourd Dance.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored in part by the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary. In honor of the Veterans Day holiday, Pueblo Grande Museum is offering free Museum admission during the normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Visit pueblogrande.com or call the Museum at (602) 495-0901 for more information.
