A group of Save the Confluence families gathered in Flagstaff for media training in 2024.
Mary Kim Titla, executive director at United National Indian Tribal Youth, Inc, and former Arizona television reporter, who is a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, offered her knowledge about the media industry, which included advocacy for STC. It included how the group can approach an elected tribal leader to which Navajo Nation communities ask for support.
The training included capturing a video of members. They were asked to speak about what matters to them. Here are videos.
