Community meetings for the future of Lower Little Colorado River Initiative

The future of the Lower Little Colorado River Outreach meetings is to inform community members about information gathered over the last year on how to increase protection for the Lower Little Colorado River.
- 9 a.m. -12 p.m. (MDT) Saturday, Oct. 30 at North Leupp Family Farms.
- 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (MDT) Saturday, Nov. 6 outside Tuba City Chapter House.
- 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. (MST) Sunday, Nov 7 at Grand Canyon Trust, 2601 N. Fort Valley Road in Flagstaff.
- 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (MST) Wednesday, Nov. 17 outside Kykotsmovi Community Center in Kykotsmovi.
- 9-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. (MST) Wednesday, Dec. 8 via Zoom (a link will be shared).
The goal is to host safe, outdoor meetings to obtain your feedback and advice about next steps.
COVID Safety:
- All meetings will be outside with large tent canopies for shade/shelter.
- Limit attendance to 15 people or less.
- Ensure enough space for social distancing.
- Masks will be required.
- Handwashing stations, hand sanitizer, and masks will be available.
- Pre-wrapped food and drinks will be available.
