Songs of the People

Enjoy a one time only presentation of Songs of the People: Performance and Stories by traditional Native American singers Roman Orona, Kenneth Cozad, Jay Begaye at Pueblo Grande Museum on Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m.

This unique performance will include songs and stories from the different tribes of these singers including Dine, Comanche, and Apache. Following this performance, the audience will have an opportunity to meet each of the singers, receive autographs, and purchase their music.

Songs of the People is an accompanying program to the premiere exhibit One World, Many Voices: The Artistry of Canyon Records at Pueblo Grande Museum. This exhibition, which is included with regular Museum admission, features over 35 large scale photographs of Canyon Records artists including Jay Begaye and Roman Orona.

Tickets for this event are available online for $10 in advance, or $12 the day of at the Museum; children under age 6 are free with a reserved ticket. Discounts for Museum Members available. Concert tickets do not include Museum Admission.
