Radmilla Cody’s New CD Release Celebration – K’é Hasin

I will be hosting a FREE concert in celebration of my new album, “K’é Hasin”, on October 1st, 2016 in Shiprock, NM, at the Phil L. Thomas Performing Arts Center from 2:45 pm to 6:45 pm. There will be GIVEAWAYS at the concert!

The night will be co-hosted by the ever positive and humorous Pax Harvey and beautiful former Miss Navajo Nation, Jannalee Atcitty.

A film screening will begin at 3 PM featuring “Save The Confluence” and a short film by Kody Dayish. There will also be a Fashion Show highlighting some of the latest creations by Jared Yazzie of OxDx Clothing.

“K’é Hasin” has many interpretations, but it is essentially Enduring Kinship and Hope. Our original laws and teachings have proved that K’é will always provide for us in our times of need. K’é provides not only love, but also unifies our collective strength. When we unite as a people, we begin to use our very indigenous traits of critical thinking, we engage each other in a more meaningful manner to the benefit of all.

I have seen the beauty of K’é endure time and time again despite the obstacles we have faced together. From environmental destruction caused by resource exploitation to bordertown settlement violence, as well as gender based abuse and violence. K’é has united us in love for each other and the land we are raised on. K’é does not discriminate.
