FCP Forum: This Land is Our Land

August 24, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC-7

Free public event. Space is limited. RSVP required. Call the Museum of Northern Arizona at 928.774.5213

Demands on public lands of the southern Colorado Plateau continue to increase. Recreationists want to recreate, miners want to mine, ranchers want to graze, conservationists want to protect, and some lawmakers want to turn over “certain public lands” to the states.

But are all interested voices being heard by public land managers? Or are only the loudest or the richest or the most well-organized voices influencing their decision-making? What would opportunities for increased and more diverse public participation in the management of our public lands look like?

Join the Museum of Northern Arizona and Grand Canyon Trust as we explore opportunities for increased and more diverse public participation in the management of public lands on the southern Colorado Plateau.

This forum is designed for maximum participation from you! After brief presentations (10 minutes each), enjoy break-out sessions and engaging discussions with presenters, including
