Join us for our first bi-annual Fall Film Screening!
We’re taking advantage of our back patio while the weather lasts to show three Grand Canyon films. You’ll also have a chance to meet Navajo families who are part of Save the Confluence, the group opposing the proposed Escalade development, and get updates on the canyon issues you care about.

Films include:
Martin’s Boat – A film about legendary conservationist (and Grand Canyon Trust co-founder) Martin Litton, the tradition of Grand Canyon dory guides he left behind, and his legacy as a conservationist. (Directed by Pete McBride.)
The Important Places – A short film about the connection between a father and son, and how the thread woven between them, the Colorado River, brought them back to the most important place of all. (Directed by Forest Woodward and Brendan Leonard.)
The Confluence – Learn firsthand from Navajo families why they oppose Grand Canyon Escalade. This story explores how the physical landscapes of the Grand Canyon region shape the cultural, emotional and spiritual landscapes of the Navajo people who inhabit it. (Directed by Courtney Blackmer-Raynolds.)
Bring a lawn chair and your friends. We hope to see you there!
